In collaboration with the Ian Hornak Estate, the Ian Hornak Exhibition showcases a variety of works created throughout the artist’s career.
Philadelphia-born Ian Hornak grew up in rural Michigan, and received his MFA from Wayne State University in Detroit before he began his art career in New York. The exhibition includes prints and paintings which display hyper-realistic imagery of saturated landscapes and robust still life elements. Hornak’s work is in a variety of permanent collections, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
