Stefek’s Auctioneers and Appraisers upcoming auction on July 16th features a beautiful Ico & Luisa Parisi coffee table. The coffee table features a burled walnut top, brass details coupling the legs, and the iconic curves of the Parisi’s design aesthetic. The table is labeled on the underside with “Singer and Sons New York Chicago.”

The piece is an example of Ico and Luisa Parisi’s influential mid-century Italian design. As husband and wife, they founded the design studio La Ruota in Como and forged a meetings place for great collaborations. Their partnership resulted in a remarkable career with over 150 interior designs and significant impact on atomic era design.
