Stefek’s presents our Spring Fine Jewelry and Décor Auction, which features several lots of fine jewelry, porcelain, art glass, and other decorative items.
Artwork showcased in this auction include an oil on board portrait of several men by Austrian artist Franz Xaver Wolf, a Chinese oil on canvas portrait of a woman, an oil on canvas winter scene by German artist Georg Schlugg, and an oil on canvas depicting horses and loggers by Belgian artist Alexis De Leeuw.
Highlights of our jewelry selection include a 18kt yellow gold Tiffany & Co. leopard brooch with emerald eyes, an 18kt yellow gold winged lion charm, a “Rainbow Castle” brooch designed by artist Yumi Ueno, and a 14kt white gold and cultured pearl cherub brooch. Georg Jensen sterling silver jewelry will also be on offer, as well as unique 14kt gold, 18kt gold, and platinum pieces.
Choice pieces of art glass in this auction include a Baldwin and Guggisberg violet “Lily” vase, a Holmegaard smoked glass dish by Per Lutken, and a Steuben crystal Floret bowl.
A large set of Royal Copenhagen “Blue Fluted” porcelain dishes will be on offer in several lots. This set includes hard-to-find pieces such as the cigarette set with individual ashtrays and cigarette holder, the salt dip pair, the egg cups, and the celery dish. Most pieces from this set date to the 1960s-1970s.
